ADEC-NS organized an Economic Meeting on the topic: « Palestine, a country in economic construction: what opportunities for French actors? ». In the program, a general presentation of the Palestinian context and the economic recovery by His Excellency Hael AL FAHOUM, Ambassador of Palestine in France. Then, Mr. Julien BUISSART, head of the Economic Service of the Consulate General of France in Jerusalem introduced keyactions of France in Palestine. Finally, Ms. Réjane Hugounenq, regional coordinator of the Palestinian territories at the French Development Agency [AFD].
Fifty participants, business leaders, entrepreneurs, Diplomatic Representatives, and civil society actors, novices or already engaged in Franco-Palestinian cooperation, showed their commitment to participate in the economic development of this country.
The general meeting was followed by business meetings with the chief advisor of the Ambassador for Bilateral Relations, Mr. Safwat IBRAGHITH, Ms. Jomana AL YAHYA, head of the Economic Department, Mr. Ibrahim KHADER, president of the Franco-Palestinian Regional economic Council (CERFP), Mr. Buissart and Mrs Hugounenq.

An Uzbek delegation, composed of His Exc. This delegation also met the Heads of Astrium and Cegelec, and the presidents of the university Paul Sabatier and ENSAT.

May 22nd, 2008 – Andorra
The Prefect of Haute-Garonne and Midi-Pyrenees, the President of the Chamber of Toulouse, the Chairman of the Supervisory Board of SA Airport Toulouse-Blagnac and the President of the University Paul Sabatier received a Ministerial delegation from Andorra.
In the context of strengthening interregional relations, a Ministerial delegation composed of Mr. Minoves TRIQUELL, Minister Spokesman of the Government in charge of Economic Development, Tourism, Culture and Higher Education, the Secretary of State “Andorra 2020”, the President of the CCIS of Andorra and the President of the Confederation of Andorran (ECA), visited the Toulouse-Blagnac airport and the Dental School to establish new co operations.

The Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Carcassonne received Alain JUILLET, Senior Official Responsible for Economic Intelligence at the General Secretariat of National Defense, to intensify its efforts for the economic development of SMEs. the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Carcassonne-Limoux-Castelnaudary signed on the 31st of May 2007 a partnership agreement with ADEC-NS. The visit of Mr Alain JUILLET at the General Meeting of the CCI of Carcassonne was the first joint action organized as part of this new partnership.
